Take a close-up that shows the damage
Park before taking pictures. Hold your phone steady and tap the chip on your screen to focus. Check the photo before sending: the damage should look sharp enough to distinguish from reflections or dirt on the glass.
Daylight can help, but bright reflections sometimes hide the chip. Try moving the phone slightly to change the angle. Avoid pressing on the damaged area or trying to open it up for a better picture.
Add a wider view of the windshield
Step back and take another photo showing where the chip sits on the windshield. A close-up shows detail; the wider view provides location and context. If there are several damaged spots, photograph each one and mention how many you noticed.
These pictures answer different questions, so send both even if the close-up looks very clear.
Include the details we need to reply
Text the pictures to 760-209-6939 with your vehicle year, make, model, and city. Let us know whether you would prefer service at home or at work. You do not need to put a full street address in your first message.
For example: “Hi, these are photos of a chip on my 2020 Toyota Camry. I am in Apple Valley and would prefer service at home. Can you review it and let me know pricing and availability?”
Understand what a photo assessment can tell you
We can review the visible damage and discuss the next step, pricing, and availability. A picture does not show every detail, so the final decision about repair suitability happens during an in-person inspection.
Tapping the photo button opens your messaging app. It does not automatically take a picture, attach a file, send the message, or book an appointment. Add your photos and details, then press send.
